The Willow Oak is easy to take care of. It will grow in both moist and dry soil types. This tree grows best in hardy zones six to nine. It can be found in the northeastern part of the United States as well as the south eastern states. This tree can grow up to be sixty five feet tall. This oak tree grows at a rapid pace. The wood of the willow oak is used to make paper and can also be used as lumber.
