Climbers are absorbing plants and will make a stunning statement in any landscape. Many choose to let these grow up the side of buildings, on a trellis, or even around trees. There is such a variety of these plants to choose from; it is a good idea to have an idea in mind when ordering. The Blue Phlox, for example, can be great in rock gardens, used as a ground cover and helps with erosion. It tends to climb along the ground and will not need support means. The Crossvine or Wisteria, however, will need lots of support to grow on. These are both strikingly beautiful when in bloom but will require significant support due to their heavy blossoms and woody stems.
